In an effort to protect our citizens and staff, a great deal of organizational energy has been expended to optimize social distancing interactions as we begin reopening to the public. With the Governor’s recent announcement, our Milton and South End offices are fully open and no longer require appointments. We are, though, requesting that masks be worn inside the building. In the alternative, you can continue to use our new online chat system to address and resolve many issues from outside locations. I encourage the use of the chat feature on this site prior to making an office visit. Many have already utilized this feature and have reported outstanding results.
Property owners who have received Homestead filing letters can still file their homestead exemption online. We can also assist with exemption applications via our chat system, if you have not received a letter or there is another exemption to which you are entitled.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. Our online filing systems of homestead exemptions and tangible personal property coupled with the new chat system has allowed us to continue to serve you. I have employed kiosks which will take your temperature before entering our office. Wearing a mask is preferred until we receive further clarification from our governmental health officials. Notice of Certification of Tax Rolls
The Current Data on this website represents Certified Values. Pursuant to section 193.122, Florida Statutes (2020), notice is hereby given to all taxpayers and owners of both real and personal property that the 2020 Santa Rosa County Tax Rolls were certified for collection to the Tax Collector. The Certification for all properties to the Tax Collector was completed on October 19th, 2020. The Final Certification to the Florida Department of Revenue was completed on November 10th, 2020. All assessments are subject to the terms of F.S. 194.171(2) based on the certification, petitions submitted to the Value Adjustment Board.Public Records Requests of the Santa Rosa County Property Appraiser
